'JAV'

Falklands pilgrimage

Jet a vet will be an on going project run by SAMA Wales. Our aim is to assist ALL

SAMA 82  MEMBERS to raise funds to enable them to return to the Falkland islands (the 'pilgrimage'), The estimated cost is in the region of £1500., a lot of money, but, by you gaining sponsorship, or obtaining other methods fundraising, we can make this happen?

There are certain criteria's that, for obvious reasons, must be met and adhered to these include the following;

1. Participants must be full SAMA members

       2.Must not be dependent on illegal substances or alcohol

 3.Insurance costs for duration must be met by participant (details of which will be produced and recorded by SAMA Wales

   4. A full, up to date, 10 year, Uk passport that covers the duration of the 'pilgrimage

5. Must make own arrangements to get to and from departure airport.

This list is not exhaustive, SAMA Wales reserves the right to amend criteria as it seems fit.

Should you be accepted into the project, you will be issued with a sponsorship pack, obviously we cant send everyone at once, we propose to send groups of five to six members at a time who will be accompanied by a SAMA Wales nominated moderator.

SAMA Wales will arrange accommodation for the 'Pilgrims' and a program of events will be issued  prior to the journey

Being that this project is in its infancy we expect there will be 'teething' problems, if you can assist in anyway please contact us, your input will be greatly appreciated

All monies raised will be deposited in the bank account that SAMA Wales has set up for 'JAV', this account will be managed by the secretary/treasurer of SAMA Wales, and will be available for inspection on request.
